DigiVoice: Young Broadcasters Project Competition
APPLICATION PROCESS AND TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
By reading and approving this Application Process and Terms of Participation document, Applicants agree to all terms and conditions of the Competition.
- About DigiVision and the Purpose of the Competition
Compass GmbH, as a key partner in the DigiVision project, invites innovative minds to participate in the DigiVision Digital Innovation Competition. The DigiVision project (Agreement number: 2022-1-TR01-KA220-YOU-000088470), supported by the Erasmus+ program, aims to empower young individuals by fostering their creativity and skill development in the digital media field.
This competition is designed to:
- Encourage creative solutions in digital media.
- Increase awareness of the possibilities within interactive media.
- Provide a platform for young individuals to showcase their potential and develop their ideas further.
The competition is a non-commercial initiative, and the submitted projects may be utilized for educational, promotional, and awareness-raising activities in alignment with the goals of the DigiVision project.
- Eligibility Criteria and General Conditions
2.1 Participant Profile
- Age Range: Anyone over the age of 18 can enter.
- Expertise: Applicants must have innovative ideas or expertise in digital media.
- Application Type: Only individual applications are accepted (team applications are not permitted).
2.2 Project Requirements
Applicants must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Projects must offer innovative solutions in digital media, including but not limited to:
- Digital platforms or website development.
- Mobile application design.
- Social media campaigns.
- Content production for interactive media.
- Submissions must be original creations and free from third-party copyright or intellectual property claims.
- Project descriptions must be detailed, including prototypes, design files, and technical documentation where applicable.
2.3 General Terms and Conditions
- Responsibility for Costs: All expenses related to project creation and submission are the applicant’s responsibility.
- Ownership: Intellectual property rights belong to the applicant. However, Compass GmbH reserves the right to use project materials for promotional and non-commercial purposes.
- Confidentiality: Projects must not be publicly disclosed before the completion of the competition.
- Disqualification Criteria: Projects promoting illegal activities, violence, hate speech, or offensive content will be disqualified.
- Application Process
3.1 Submission Method
Applications must be submitted online via Compass GmbH’s official website (Form LINK) Applications submitted via email, post, or other means will not be accepted.
3.2 Submission Requirements
Applicants must upload:
- A completed application form, including a project description.
- Supporting materials such as prototypes, technical documents, and videos.
3.3 Deadline
Applications must be submitted by 23 December 2024, 17:00 CET. Late applications will not be considered.

- Intellectual Property Rights
4.1 Ownership and Licensing
- The intellectual property rights of all submitted projects remain with the applicants.
- Award-winning projects grant Compass GmbH a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, promote, and showcase the projects for non-commercial purposes related to the competition and DigiVision objectives.
4.2 Usage Rights
- Compass GmbH reserves the right to display, promote, and distribute project materials through its website, social media platforms, and other outreach channels to inspire and educate the public.
- Evaluation Process and Criteria
5.1 Criteria
Projects will be evaluated by an expert jury based on the following criteria:
- Originality and Creativity (40): The uniqueness and innovative aspects of the idea.
- Social and Public Impact (30): The potential to address societal or public challenges.
- Feasibility (30): The practicality and execution potential of the project.
5.2 Jury and Announcement
- Results will be announced on 30 December 2024 on the Compass GmbH social media pages.
- The jury’s decisions are final and cannot be contested.
- Awards and Recognition
6.1 Award Categories
Prizes will be awarded to the top three projects:
- First Prize: € 800,00
- Second Prize: € 400,00
- Third Prize: € 200,00
6.2 Award Conditions
- Award winners must complete all necessary documentation before receiving their prize.
- In case of violations of participation terms, Compass GmbH reserves the right to revoke awards.
- Data Protection and Consent
Participants’ personal data will be processed in accordance with GDPR and used solely for competition-related purposes. By participating, applicants consent to the use of their data as outlined in the competition’s privacy policy.
